The Mark of Tyranny
Writing Exercise Question: What legacy do you want to leave behind?
Adran: Plants, blooming. Water, flowing. Animals, moving through the fields. I will settle for nothing less.
Aleyn: I don’t plan on going anywhere. The closest I’m coming to a legacy is my own vast palaces.
Archon: I leave nothing behind. I take all I wish.
Aristes: Dunno. A few stories, a memory of laughter, and a buncha smooshed bastards.
Azad: A series of slit necks and empty coin purses.
Betresh-Lal: I… don’t want to talk about this.
Cha’ka: I leave no legacy. The cycle continues, and I shall be born again.
Davion: Ideally, a code of honor people can live by. A military academy. Maybe a flattering statue. With strong, virile legs.
Dragonborn Arena Master: I already have a legacy, in my exploits and children. But a unified and powerful Tyr is sounding pretty nice.
Elthea: Heh, who knows? At this point, I’m trying to just keep what I already have in the air.
Haneth Tsalaxa: A proud line, feared and respected across the land.
Harzen Scorchedskull: I’m not going anywhere. Trust me.
Moiraine: A Republic, ideally. Our Council is nice, but fairly one sided, and not overly indicative of the people’s will. Besides, I’m positive I’d be elected.
Mr. Bread: Well, my Inn is doing okay, or was when I left Tyr. Maybe add a second wing? And rebuild the Bloody Hand.
Nihlus Vor: A kiss in the night, a rose on the pillow, and a memory of an amazing night. That’d be quite enough legacy for me. Making the dominant trading house on the continent, free of my father’s influence, would just be the topper on a lovely cake.
Slice: A nice ballad about the Mul with a strong head of hair and a devilish grin. Flowing locks and flowing words.Oooo, I have to write that down!
Verin Mathwin: You know, I’m not actually sure! I’m over a hundred years old, and still don’t know my overall goals. Running the prison seems a good enough goal for now, standing for law and order.
